Mike Domek is a CEO & chairman of TicketsNow. And it was all inspired by heavy metal and lite rock: “Metallica one night and Neil Diamond the next.

I just enjoy a good concert.”

Mr. Domek’s company works by aggregating the ticket inventories of companies, agencies, individuals and other dealers nationwide into one huge online marketplace.

It is informed that by combining the inventory of 50 brokers nationwide, TicketsNow lets customers shop online for seats at sold-out concerts, theater performances and sports events across the U.S. Domek started his business in 1991 in Chicago, Illinois, and by 1999, the business had grown into TicketsNow Inc., currently a $202-million-a-year company.

TicketsNow is one of just a handful of companies that provide secure online access to tickets for concerts, sports, and theater events throughout the United States. But among that handful are several outfits that have been in the business for far longer than TicketsNow.

To keep up with such larger, more-established competitors, TicketsNow makes a special point of providing customers with innovative and personalized service—the company’s “brand promise,” as Mike Domek, Chief Executive Officer, describes it.
