Marianne van Leeuwen , 28,  is co-owner of Sisteract, an interactive ad agency focussing on marketing to women. Sisteract works for (among others) Heineken, Gaastra, Hogeschool van Amsterdam, Telegraaf Vrouw, De Baak and Sanoma Uitgevers. Marianne co-founded the company in 2007.
Before, she worked as a consultant together with her sister in a company called Zus&Zus (www.zusenzus.nl) for 3 years, advising companies on their internet activitites and helping them to realise their objectives. Zus&Zus worked for (among others) Sanoma Uitgevers, Talpa, Quote Media, Versatel and Heineken international.

Marianne also owns www.welikefashion.com, an online fashion retailer founded in 2003 as Netalsindefilm. We Like Fashion! sells celebrity fashion from top fashion brands. The webshop is particularly popular among women and delivers to most European countries. It also has a store at Van Baerlestraat 108 in Amsterdam.

In 1998, Marianne co-founded the Dutch price agency MiepKniep (www.miepkniep.nl). MiepKniep survived the dotcomcrash, and remains a popular website among Dutch consumers.
Nationalistic and irredentist ethnic motivations may not decline as noticeably as expected. Organizational trends away from hierarchies toward real and virtual networking may well direct tactics and strategies of terrorists in the future, fudging the identity of terrorism as distinct from electronic vandalism, transnational crime, or ‘ordinary’ fighting, and making terrorism as a phenomenon more elusive than in the past century.
