Lisa Sugar, who is the Co-founder and Editor in Chief, Sugar Publishing. Lisa’s blog network is funded by Sequoia – the guys who funded Google and Youtube. Now one of the biggest celebrity blogs on the net, Lisa sure is a top female blogger! PopSugar was originally edited by Lisa Sugar, who created the site as a hobby to satisfy her obsession with celebrities and fashion.

Upon the formation of Sugar Publishing, Sugar became the company’s editor-in-chief and several anonymous editors were hired to edit the site. In January 2007, Molly Goodson, the founder and editor of Mollygood, announced that she was leaving her namesake site to join PopSugar.

Lisa and Brian started PopSugar in 2005 and launched Sugar Publishing in 2006. They’re now racking up about 40 million page views per month to the company’s network of 10 Web sites.
