Chua U-Zyn, the founder of the Ping.sg. Now a year later, he shares with us his reflections about how Ping.SG has evolved and where it will be heading.

When we hit version 1, we also had a facelift. That’s makes the current look and feel of Ping.sg so much different from the screenshots that you took while Ping.sg was featured on SGE a year ago.

On being an entrepreneur: “I started Ping.sg more than one year ago in my university hostel room. I observed that the bloggers of Singapore are somewhat scattered all over. I knew that they would love to check out more bloggers around the region, but at that time there was lack of the infrastructure for them to do so. Being a freelance Web developer at that time, I knew I could do something to help build a home for the Singapore bloggers. About three months of struggling between my studies, my freelance work, and building Ping.sg, I have finally released the first version of Ping.sg with myself doing all the work, including Web programming, designing, and promoting.”
